I stopped using the e-harmony account and the card that was originally charged was deactivated. The account was paid in full up to that point. But Harmony is now dunning me for a year or more of service I never used.

Tried calling all the phone numbers to cancel the eharmony but all the number they give out are bogus, you get a busy signal before it rings. It’s so hard to get a person to talk to.

I just want my refund because thought I made it clear that I unsubscribe to try this scam of a mess. None of the numbers work. Ive dealt with other dating sites had no problems canceling or getting a person on the phone.

Fraudulent activity by e Harmony

I am apparently one of Thousands of consumers who have been subjected to a collection agency RFGI, who represents Eharmony. The shady and unethical billing practice of E Harmony should be criminal and investigated on a state and federal level.

Billed sequentially for a membership which was out of service, no way to cancel the membership, all customer service numbers provided by E Harmony were non working, unable to access the account online to try and rectify the issue, billed for the most expensive membership option, when It was only a 3 month, minimal cost membership. RFGI has been notably complicit according to many reports, pursuing collections on behalf of E Harmony, knowing a 1.3 million and 1 million settlement was awarded to consumers in five california cities for fraudulent billing practices and consumer fraud. RFGI was unwilling to negotiate on any level, even though I offered to pay half of what i supposedly owed E Harmony, just to avoid a mark on my credit. I subsequently told RFGI to pound sand on principle, I'm refusing to pay any money regardless of the hit to my credit score.

To this day, I have never recieved any correspondence from E Harmony, nor any reply from customer service.

RFGI had supposedly found my contract and provided said proof of the contract with a ficticious home address in a different state which i have never lived. Lesson: Don't do business with E Harmony, ever.

The man, answering the phone was rude. I couldn't understand him, so he got louder, leaving on the phone for long periods of time,and telling me to be patient.

He hung up on me at one point, and I called back and then he put me on hold and never came back on the phone. I tried four times to call in the line was busy. I did not get anything resolved. He was trying to get passwords for different apps that I had that had nothing to do with eharmony.com, like text now.com.

I don't know what else to do seem since he seems to be the only one answering the phone today.

I will try to call back tomorrow to see if I can resolve this issue. I want a refund and cancellation of my subscription to eharmony.com.
