Upset. Bait and switch

I went online and saw a promo trial with the code "NEW60" for 60percent off 6 months. I entered the promo and it dropped the price to $13.95 on the page. But then charged me $83.70. I'm just trying this out and I dont want to pay $83.70. Please cancel this transaction. I'm not ready to spend that much on a trial for the service. Transaction # 10895****

eharmony works a bit different than other sites as we deliver compatible matches to you, instead of allowing our members to browse through profiles. If you have received a match that is outside your current Match Preferences, this is most likely a Flex Match.

Flex matches are created when anything other than “Very Important” is selected under your Importance setting.

Extremely Pissed Consumer

I signed up. However, i have had nothing but problems logging in, Its not what I expected, i never received credit for my free weekend promotion either. I want this canceled effective immediately. I haven't even bn on it for a week. Refund what was paid since I have prepaid till March 2018. and DO NOT take any further fees. Tanks, Tania Fantecchi

I tried eHarmony and was bitterly disappointed. I only received a couple of matches for several months and the "what if" matches were a complete joke.. most were more than 800 miles away, 5-15 years older than me, and had nothing in common with me yet were labeled...

What If? is a feature that allows you to see some additional eHarmony members beyond the ones you'd normally see as your Matches.

These matches are compatible, but slightly outside of your Match Preferences, which is why they appear to be outside of what you are asking for.

A service this large must have users within 200 miles of me, I would like to see them.

Stay Away from Eharmony!

Be very careful with this company. When you sign up you agree to be automatically renewed, and you get NO NOTICE whatsoever that they are charging your card. I called a couple of days after they charged my card (as soon as I noticed they had charged me), and they refused to refund my money. They kept my payment for the next year even though I asked them to cancel my subscription immediately. I asked them to close my account and never contact me again, but a year later I am still getting emails from them. They keep your information and images and use you as "bait", even long after you have cancelled. There is also no way to "Unsubscribe". They ask you to go to "login to your account" to specify your preferences, but I have no way to log in anymore because my account is closed. Incredibly frustrating.

Eharmony sucks

I got messages that I had messages and then would not see any in my eharmony inbox. There was no contact from any of my matches. I asked to cancel and they would not let me. The service was a waste of time and waste of money. I had much better luck with POF which is free. 140 dollars to eharmony for nothing. Terrible customer service. I will never use them again. I tried to get them to cancel and refund my money several times and they refused and kept on billing me. I have had lots of contacts on other free dating sites and none on eharmony. The matching was terrible.

Archaic customer service

I spent two months on the service only to find zero matches because there were no matches that shared with my views on not drinking alcohol. I contacted them and told them I was receiving no matches and was not receiving any value for the money I was spending and asked for them to cancel the six month contract. They refused . What a scam. Any conscious business would graciously agree to cancel a contract for something someone had found no value in their service.
