I was told e-harmony was a serious dating platform, I was told that Tinder, Hinge and Bumble are just for hookups and nothing else. While I did get one actual in person date on e-harmony, it boiled down to luck and the woman I met didn't really make me do a lot of working to get a first date, we pretty much dated a day after talking.

I got fleeced off a dinner bill from this date; obviously this isn't e-harmony's fault, but I'm not getting diverse matches throughout the week. I keep getting the same matches constantly, even within a 50 mile radius.

I highly doubt these 20 people are the only people within my vicinity who are the only e-harmony users.

This is also the most expensive dating service, Tinder and Hinge have better options for opting out of a membership with little hassle; e-harmony goes out of their way to steal your money. I've had this garbage for three months and I'm convinced there's no algorithm or someone monitoring users for quality control.

Stick with Tinder instead, hey at least you have a chance at getting a date with the free version.

User's recommendation: Tinder, Hinge or Match.

Monetary Loss: $600.

Preferred solution: Full refund.
