Ok Cupid asks dozens of questions. Based on these questions they match you with people that answer similarly.

EHarmony does no such thing. You fill out a profile and magically you're matched with people. But not many. In 3 weeks I was matched with about 12-14 women.

I had set my search distance to 30 miles(I live in a decently sized metropolitan area) it suggested that I open up my distance. I did, to 60 miles. Nothing. They wanted me to continue opening up my distance.

They were matching me with people an hour and a half away from me. Who has time for that? I called after one week, they informed me that their algorithm was flawed, gave me a free month and said to wait 24hours. In 3 hours I received a potential match with a beautiful woman near me only to find out, after I opened her profile that she was unavailable.

Seems extremely fishy to me. After two more weeks had passed I had only been matched with two other persons one was 2 and a half hours away and the other 1 and a half. I called again and said that I didn't want to continue my service because they were not holding up their end of the contract. I asked the representative if they would want to try and date someone an hour and a half (one way) she said "I would if it was the right person".

I'm not a love struck 19 year old. I'm 36 and I have a full time job. She said she would cancel my account but I would still have to pay the remaining $110. I highly recommend NOT going with EHarmony, unless you want to throw away money on, what I feel is a LAZY dating service.

They have all of these claims that their service is so great. Don't buy the lie.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

As far as I'm concerned, eHarmony is a TOTAL SCAM. I would hazard that 98% of the profiles are not even active subscribers.

A waste! The Better Business Bureau should shut them down, and subscribers should file a class action lawsuit to get their money back.

Most of the photos posted on the website are of people who no longer even subscribe. This is MASSIVE FRAUD.
